Bio

You're visiting Rafael Ventura's portfolio, a 2D artist of many styles and techniques. He works with paintings and drawings, but enjoys mostly the digital art. He works with all kinds of art from illustrations to concept art, also doing some storyboards and comics.

Worked with the most varied medias, including magazines, card games, outdoors and websites; acted as lead and texture artist in game companies; as a storyboarder for a full-lenght movie; also he lectured in a college; all of this allowed him to develop his works in a branching, inovative way. He always acted with the purpose of adding value in the various areas in which he worked, knowing how to utilize the uniqueness and quality inherent to the imagery use according to the request of each client.

Proficient and experient in coordenating teams and working with them, using Agile Methods like Scrum. Also has major experience working over distances, providing his services overseas during his career.

- Storyboard for the american movie Time Flies the Movie.

- Illustrations for the card game UFS (Universal Fighting System), from Sabertooth Games.

- Illustrations for Pátio Savassi's Valentine's Day.

- Colorist for the comicbook Black Jesus.

- Illustrations for the regional event Comida di Buteco.

- Storyboard for the comicbook Hitless, released exclusively for iPod and PSP (Playstation Portable), together with iwantmyflashtv.

- Colorist for the brazilian comicbook Fahrenheit 100°, released by Big Jack Studios.

- Various other jobs for clients like the city hall of Belo Horizonte, CEMIG, GeTrans and others.
